The J&L Kitchens team are able to create functional spaces for kitchens, laundries, outdoor kitchens, studies and office fitouts. The J&L Kitchens team are dedicated to getting your job done from start to finish. This is inclusive of design, manufacturing and installation.

Every project is custom built within our Penrith factory, with the options of having the custom built units just supplied or having the J&L Kitchens team both supply and install. We offer our clients this flexibility.

THE PROCESS

From start to finish, J&L Kitchens will be with you every step of the way. Here is how you can begin your journey to having your dream kitchen with us:

Contact the J&L Kitchens team for your FREE quote.
Our experienced team will organise a consultation within our showroom, in-house or virtually to understand your renovation needs. We offer flexible consultation solutions to suit you.
Once the quote is accepted, a 2nd in-home consultation will be made. This is done to re-measure, confirm your design and make required changes.
Dates for installation of cabinetry will be confirmed.
Specifications for cabinetry, bench tops and appliances to be supplied so that we can commence work on your custom kitchen.
We organise all trades for the removal of your existing kitchen and the electrical, plumbing and tiling preparation needed.
Installation of your designer kitchen takes place (over 1-2 days).
Stone benchtops and splashbacks are measured once all of your cabinetry has been installed.

VIRTUAL CONSULTATIONS

The team at J&L Kitchens are now offering virtual consultations as a permanent option for our clients. They are convenient for those who are unable to make it to our showroom due to restrictions or other obligations. With our virtual consultation you will have access to our selection of materials, colours, showroom and factory, all in the comfort of your own home. CARE FOR YOUR KITCHEN

After installation has occurred, like you, we want your kitchen to always look like the day we installed it. By following the below guide, your kitchen will always be in top condition.

For all kitchens with Melamine, Ultra Glaze, Vacuum Form Vinyl or Polyurethane Kitchens/ Laminated Benchtops:

All purpose cleaners can be used on Melamine surfaces (laminated). Do not use any abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, solvents, thinners, turps, ammonia, bleach.
A wipe over with a clean soft cloth should be sufficient to keep all surfaces clean. Soiled or light stains are removed with warm soapy water or detergent and a wipe over with a dry cloth.
Spills of any nature should be wiped up as soon as they occur to avoid damage.
Immediate attention for coffee, tea, beetroot juice, red wine, fruit juices.
Do not leave benchtops soiled of any residues of products or water, this can cause damage to the benchtops voiding warranty of the products.
Sliding objects can cause scuffing on the surfaces. We strongly recommend the use of a protective mat or chopping board to prevent surfaces being scorched, damaged with hot things such as irons, kettles, toasters, coffee machines, steamers, pans and dishes taken from the oven. DO NOT place hot pans or similar objects directly onto the laminate benchtops.
Always use a chopping board when using sharp utensils on the benchtops services, as this will avoid scratches to the service. To also minimise scratching always place and lift heavy items from the service rather than dragging and sliding across the surfaces.
Use Rangehoods whenever cooking to avoid steam and cooking oil vapours from adversely affecting the services.
Poly Doors, all care must be taken not to chip or scratch the surfaces as these are painted in the same way a car is spray painted.
